Skills: Lip Syncing
There were many difficulties we faced during this filming, we had to learn the lyrics off by heart which took same times because none of us heard this song before. To overcome this difficulty what we did was, we learnt the lyrics of the song one verse at a time instead of trying to learn the whole song because it made it easier for us to remember. Another thing we became aware of was that to get accurate lip sync with the song we had to exaggerate each word in order for us to lip sync correctly.
One thing we realised is that we need to consider the camera movements and angles to show that the person is singing. Doing this task we found out that, using a close up or medium close up works best in order to show the person is singing because we can clearly see the facial expression and movements, whereas if we use a long range shot it isn't as vivid.
By playing the song at the time of filming helped lip sync the song and keep in tune with it so when it comes to editing the clip it is easy to play the song over it and make it look as if the person showing on the clip is singing the song
This music video was one of the 1st video to be made in 1975
